Abstract
US 4,190,436 - In the cyanide leaching of gold ore in tailing or ore dump piles, or gold ore in vats or on pads, the ore is agitated and oxygenated by introducing timed bursts of air, along with cyanide in a cyclic or regulated manner. The leach liquor is drained from the material by providing a continuous flow of air. Fines are homogenously mixed, thereby reducing channelling In the ore bed. Yield is improved and cyanide consumption lessened. R M. Hughes Feb. 26, 1980. 7 pp. (75-105). Filed. 12-20-77 (862,335).
