Abstract

Thermonics is a methodology of ground-water flow system analysis based upon the distribution of heat within the subsurface as influenced by moving ground water. Thermonics is based upon the Stallman Equation 1 (1) which describes the simultaneous transfer of heat through a porous medium which contains moving ground water. The Stallman Equation is:
