Abstract

After determination of the requirements for a given application, proper selection of a belt conveyor is made from tables and formulas commonly used by conveyor designers. Belt conveyors, which are universally accepted as a means of transporting bulk materials, also perform the important functions of stockpiling and reclaiming.
