The paper of Mr. S. F. Emmons on the structural relations of ore-deposits, presented at the Boston meeting in February last, having been, as I am informed, unavoidably delayed in publication, was not distributed in the preliminary edition to members until immediately before the sheets of Volume XVI. of the Transactions, containing it, were sent to press.
