Abstract
FACT: a company?s profitability (or loss) is directly related to the efficiency and effectiveness of its maintenance operation. Fact: in order to contribute in a positive manner, maintenance must understand what its true purpose is in the organization. It is easy to say our main purpose is to increase: ?equipment uptime ?OEE ?asset life cycle We all understand this; so does management.
