Robert T. Hill, Washington, D. C.: Having studied very minutely the geology of the district referred to by Prof. Branner, I beg to state that his quotation of my classification of the Cretaceous deposits of Arkansas is not the one which I originally gave,* nor is it the one which has since been published and is now generally accepted.?
