Abstract

The present paper describes a method of simulating deposits of com- posite structure by means of computers. The method employs mathematical tech- niques to study the openworks zone formation dynamics in open-pit mines with any mode of the works front ad- vance as well as to determine, on oriented graphs,the optimal direction of openworks expansion.
