Abstract

While SME is hosting its Annual Meeting at the Phoenix Convention Center, Feb. 28 to March 3, one of the finest collections of mining history will be on display just 15 blocks away at the Arizona Mining and Mineral Museum. Inside the museum, visitors will be treated to a treasure trove of minerals, gems, me¬teorites, rocks, fossils, mining artifacts, historical exhibits and interactive displays on modern mining. The museum is located at 1502 West Washington. For SME Annual Meeting attendees, this is a free, eight-minute Dash bus ride 15 blocks west of the Phoenix Convention Center.
