Abstract

Studies of electric pulse (EP) disintegration were conducted on ores of disseminated precious minerals, 'on platinum-bearing chromitites of the Konder Complex, Russia, on diamond-bearing impactites of the Popigai meteoritic crater, Russia, and on and diamond-bearing metamorphic rocks of Northern Kazakhstan. It was shown that EP disintegration ~s a technology that achieves ideal liberation of disseminated minerals, and is a new efficient method to study accessory minerals.
