Abstract

A static method for vapor pressure measurement up to 1450 K and above 1 hPa is presented. The method is designed for equilibrium and kinetic studies of metallic systems, including those with a chemical reaction. Application examples are given for determination of activities in condensed phases, and heterogeneous reaction rates and equilibrium constants.
