Abstract
FREDERICK LAIST, * Anaconda, Mont. (written discussion?).-All who are interested in the treatment of oxidized copper ores by leaching have been awaiting the publication of this paper, which comes up to our expectations in all respects. Messrs. Tobelmann and Potter are to he congratulated upon the excellent way in which they have set forth the workings of the process as applied at Ajo. Numerous attempts have been made to apply the electrolytic copper process but all have failed, except the installation of the Chile Copper Co., at Chuquicamata.
