Abstract

HENRY YONGE WALKER is one of Canada's numerous gifts to the American mining and metallurgical industry, having been born it1 New Brunswick 59 years ago. At eighteen he came to the United States and has since been continuously identified with what are known as the Guggenheim interests. His first position was in the capacity of clerk at the Philadelphia Smelting & Refining Co. plant of M. Guggenheim Sons at Pueblo, Colo.
