Abstract

The paper asks the question 'Why Limit the HYDROTRANSPORT of material to the confines of your washplant'.A brief historical review of widely accepted slurry transport operation establishes that we are not talking about new technology - simply applying proven experience to an innovative continuous system. The paper reviews a simple potential application and compares capital and operating costs with conventional trucking. No attempt has been made to develop a complete mine plan and the comparison has been limited to material transport costs.
