Abstract

This information circular is written is response to the marry requests for information on the recovery, or reason for poor recovery, of fine gold by the amalgamation process. Checking Gold Content Experience has shown that in many cases error has been made because the true told content of a particular sample or deposit was not known. Fire assays of representative samples give accurate results and should be considered final in determining the gold content.
