Abstract

This paper is one of a series of digests of foreign mining legislation and court decisions prepared in advance of a general report relative to the right of American citizens to explore for minerals and to own and operate mines in various foreign countries. This interpretation of the laws of Yugoslavia was prepared from information furnished by John Dyneley Prince, American Minis- ter at Belgrade, in response to a questionnaire submitted by the Bureau of Kinos and transmitted through the courtesy of the Department of State.
