Abstract
Although some engineering colleges recognize the importance of
instructing young engineers in industrial safety , the different institutions
handle this instruction in various ways . It is believed that a
recent industrial safety course , conducted at the Colorado School of Mines
through the cooperation of this school and the Bureau of Mines , U. S.
Department of Commerce , presents some unusual features that are of interest
to other schools and to the mining public .
