Abstract

This paper is one of a series being prepared by the United States Bureau of Mines on mining practices, methods, and costs in the various mining districts of the United States. The property of the Silver King Coalition Mines Co. is situated in the western past of the Park City mining district, Utah, about 1 ½ miles southwest of the town of Park City, The elevation at the collar of the main shaft is 8,137 feet above sea-level.
