Abstract

[This paper, which describes the milling practice at the San Guillermo concentrator of the Compania Industrial "M Potosi", S.A., located at Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, is one of a series of similar papers being prepared by the United States Bureau of Mines. The concentrator treats lead-zinc-silver ore at the rata of 2,300-2,400 tons of dry material daily and produces lead concentrate and zinc concentrate by selective flotation methods. The lead concentrate is smelted at the Chihuahua plant of the American Smelting & Refining Co., and the zinc concentrate is shipped to various European smelters.]
