Abstract

This paper, which describes lode gold mining in Idaho county, Idaho, is one of a series on western mining districts being published by the Bureau of Mines. It describes mining and milling practices, gives costs, and discusses transportation, climate, power, labor, and other conditions that affect them. The materiel upon which the paper was based was gathered during a field survey in the summer of 1937.
