Abstract

W. B. Mather—A minor recommendation that may be offered to improve the paper is the inclusion of a map of Oregon showing the general location of the various deposits. This is of especial importance to persons like myself who are not familiar with the various areas and counties mentioned. N. S. Wagner and R. S. Mason (authors' reply)—We agree that an index map of Oregon showing the location of the various nonmetallic deposits would add to the paper (fig. 1).
