Abstract

Crushing and grinding consumes about 1.3% of the nations produced electrical energy.( Furthermore, only one in the first ten highest consumers comes from an industry other than mineral processing. This is the grinding of wheat to make flour. The other nine are all in the metallurgical industry and are easily the largest consumers.
