ACCORDING to M. Perogordo y Lasso, professor in the School of Mines, College of Engineering, National University of Mexico, what is known a. the "co- operative system" was started there on Feb. 1, 1929. On Jan. 1, 1792, the Real Seminario de Mineria was opened in Mexico City and had much success. Later, the name was changed to Colegio de Mineria.
