Abstract
The hydrometallurgical processes for recovery of gold and silver in use at Round Mountain, Nevada and the practical aspects of the operation are discussed. Included are heap leaching by cyanidation, upgrading of solutions by adsorption of values on activated carbon and desorption (stripping) for electrowinning and subsequent refining steps to produce dore metal.
