Abstract

Standard textbook equations for heterogeneous kinetics typically utilize a constant driving force to solve for rates and times of reactions. In order to more closely model real systems, equations and solutions are presented for particle leaching kinetics in which the driving force is decreased as the reactions proceeds. In addition, models for continuous co-current and continuous counter current aqueous-solid reactions are presented.
