Abstract

"As the push toward the northern regions of Canada steadily increases to exploit the rich mineral reserves, interest is steadily rising in respect to accessibility and climatic conditions and the problems posed thereby. In twelve years of operation, the Iron Ore Company of Canada, and associated companies, have found, through advanced technology, ingenuity and, most of all. need, some of the answers to the running of a profitable year-round open-pit mining operation."
