Abstract
Mr Colin M. Spence took office as President of The Federation of Societies of Professional Engineers on 1st July, 1984. Colin Maynard Spence was born in November 1921, and was educated at the Durban Preparatory and High Schools, in both of which he was a Dux Scholar. He graduated from the University of Natal in 1942 with a B.Sc. degree in civil engineering. In 1958 he received a Diploma in Town Planning from the same university. Cessation of Membership In accordance with Clauses 7.6.1 and 12.1 of the Institute's Constitution, Rules and Policy, the following members have been struck off the Membership list.
