Abstract
New zinc fuming plant of the Cia. Metalurgica Del Norte S.A., a subsidiary of the American Smelting & Refining Co., nears completion at the Avalos Smelter, near Chihuahua City, State of Chihuahua, Mexico. The plant is scheduled for completion on July l, 1952. The erection contractor is Utah Construction Co. Supervising engineer for Asarco is Leslie E. Harris, AIME. [ ]
