Abstract

Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Exploration and Mining, has developed nuclear spectrometric techniques for borehole logging. The paper reviews the latest developments of this technology for the metalliferous mining industries. The SIROLOG logging system developed by CSIRO Exploration and Mining has been commercialised and is available to the mining industry.
