Abstract

Brunswick Mine employs an ore and waste pass system for material transfer. This paper reviews the evolution and performance ore pass systems at the mine. It presents the range of selected configurations, inclination, dimensions etc. Select case studies are used to address the influence of structure, stress and materials handling on the longevity of the employed ore passes.
