Abstract
Volume II of this report presents the vibration data, octave band data, one-third octave band data and narrow band (amplitude versus frequency) data for ten mining machines. These ten mining machines include a Goodman 968-2 Loading Machine, a Lee Norse 245 Continuous Miner, a Jeffrey 120L Continuous Miner, a National Mine Service 3080 Continuous Miner, Acme D-1 Roof Bolter, a Lee Norse 265 Continuous Miner, two Jeffrey Locomotives, a Joy CD-71A Coal Drill and a Jeffrey 100L Auger Miner. Volume J of this report presents the effects of underground environment and loading conditions on noise levels of coal mining equipment
