Abstract

An analysis of the Pb recovery as a function of particle size was carried out for the CuPb rougher bank of a complex sulphide mineral processing plant. Results indicate that higher recovery may be achieved by optimizing the flotation feed size distribution. Simulation of the actual grinding circuit has provided guidelines to modify circuit operating conditions in order to improve product size distribution. Plant tests ar
