Abstract

"Organic Polymers used as gangue depressants are classified according to their chemical structure. Absorption mechanisms for these reagents at the mineral - water interface are reviewed. The method of selecting these reagents for a particular flotation system is discussed. Details are given of methods of reagent solution make-up and distribution. Plant addition policy is reviewed.”
