Abstract
A paper presenting the results of studies carried out on rotary drill bit life at EluraMine N.S.W.Contributing parameters, including dataon drill operation and geology are compared to the performance observed for the drill bits. Correlation and performance characteristics are presented, relating this data to cutting size distribution over drilling depth.Details are presented of experiencegained through the operation of rotary drillsat Elura.
