Abstract

In recent years the need for reducing energy costs has led many in search of alternative fuels, examples are gasohol, "cow power", oil shale, biomass, peat and many others. We have been involved with several peat resource evaluations and would like to share with you some of our observations and experiences. We hope our experiences may help you in your evaluation of existing or future projects where peat is considered as an energy resource. The items that we will cover are listed as follows: ?
