(written discussion*).-Since the eastern part of the Gulf Coastal Plain is receiving considerable attention from various operators at the present time, it occurs to me that it brief review of most recent operations may be of interest in this connection, as well as a discussion of some of the points suggested by Mr. Hager. During the latter part of January, 1918, the Alahoma Oil Co. completed and abandoned a 3400-ft. (1036-m.) dry hole in Section 25, Township-8 North, Range 1 West.
