Abstract

More than 100 scientists from diverse professional backgrounds have contributed their expertise to the Dust Center as investigators. Approximately 50 researchers served as principal investigators, with responsibility for directing the work on Center projects, from experimental design and implementation in mines and in laboratories to coordination of efforts within the research infrastructure of the Center. The professional biographies which follow demonstrate the breadth and depth of research capabilities brought to the Center by its principal investigators.
