Abstract

The paper discusses some of the tools of management in the field of project control, especially in engineering. Project control includes planning and cost engineering, and involves various phases: the conceptual Design and Planning Phase, the Definitive Design and Capital Budgeting Phase, and the Implementation Phase. Each of these phases is discussed in in, together with the use that can be made of data banks, progress reports, and computer systems.
