SMITH, Secretary REALIZING, from the safety and health standpoint, the need of furnishing air of good quality to workers underground and of diluting and carrying away dangerous and noxious gases, the following code is offered to unify regulatory measures in coal mine ventilation, so far as is practicable, in the United States of America.
