Abstract

The need to develop and field explosive, pyrotechnic and propellant initiating systems that have high reliability and extraordinary safety requirements has led to the exploration and development of several materials and initiation systems at our laboratories. Our approach to initiating device development encompasses five main areas; energetic materials development , device physics, theoretical analysis and model development and experimental verifications
