This paper deals with the laboratory facilities at the Mines Branch for carrying out research in the industrial minerals field, and also reviews current programs in ceramics and construction materials, in non-metallic minerals and in the milling of industrial minerals. It then discusses the application of these pro-grams to industrial problems.
