The nqtmal thickneaa of the formation 1n Indiana 1e a.bout 100 faet, 􀉦ltbough 1n the region of its out­ cro􀊀;l the tall th!::kne,111 io rarely exposed because cf the general d:.p of the strata, which is 11 about 30 feet per mile to the west.
