Abstract

The determination of the ignition temperature of diethyl ether and ethylene in air and omen which is described in this report was made primarily for comparison with similar determinations of other compounds in the same apparatus and using the see laboratory technique. The investigation was conducted at the Pittsburgh Experiment Station of the United States Bureau of Mines with the cooperation of Merck & Co., Inc.
