Abstract
The organization of the Explosives Division has been outlined in two preceding publications.3/ The activities of the various units for the fiscal year 1939 are described hereafter: I. INFLAMMABILITY OF GASES AND VAPORS DETERMINATION OF EXPLOSION HAZARDS OF COMBUSTIBLE GASES AND VAPORS IN MINES AND INDUSTRIES (a) Determination of Limits of Inflammability of Gases and Vapors The following hitherto unpublished limits of inflammability were determined during the past fiscal year.
