Abstract

The heat of combustion of aluminum carbide (Al, C3 ) , obtained directly by combustion calorimetry , was AH298.15 -1,029.6 ± 1.9 kcal / mole . == The heat of formation of aluminum carbide corresponding to this value was AH298.15 = -53.4 ± 2.0 kcal /mole .
