Abstract
This Bureau of Mines report presents the computer programing methods and
mathematics required to generate either random numbers or normal random numbers
to be used for the construction of statistical probability models for
simulating mineral deposits by Monte Carlo techniques . Theoretical frequency
functions are evaluated as an illustration of simulation applications .
Numerical and analytical methods of simulating and dissecting some complex
frequency distributions are described .
