Abstract
Information is presented on the pressure and rate of pressure development
during a dust explosion . The data were obtained in laboratory studies in a
75- cubic inch vessel with mineral , agricultural and chemical dusts . The factors
investigated include dust concentration , oxygen concentration of the
atmosphere , admixed inert powder , and admixed moisture . Information is given
also on the effects of these factors on the composition of the atmosphere
after the explosion .
