The belt of copper-bearing rocks of the South Mountain has attracted Attention principally iii the townships of Hamilton Ban and Liberty in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and in the southeastern portion of Franklin County. As the developments, thus far, have been almost exclusively limited to that area, the examination here described extended only within those boundaries.
