Abstract

Selecting a mineral processing control system from the multitude of offerings can be a formidable task. To assist the plant designer, the material in this chapter includes the advantages and disadvantages of different equipment types, configurations, and control strategies. Selection procedures are detailed, and the importance of each step in the design and selection process is explained.
