Sights and Sounds of the Second Mexican Mining Rail Excursion

This first of two articles on the Second Mexican Mining Rail Excursion describes some of the more casual experiences participants enjoyed on last fall’s rail tour of major Mexican mining operations. In this article, Beth Robinson, a graduate student at Colorado School of Mines, describes trip organizers, participants, and some of the unique events occurring during the two-week excursion. Next month, part two of the series will highlight various Mexican mines and plants.
