Abstract

Geological materials are likely the most complex and challenging substances to quantitate by ICPOES (inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy). For complex materials having widely varying compositions, spectral overlap interferences govern detection and quantitation limits attained by ICPOES based analytical methods.
